What Is Kits for Kids?

The SoCalREN Kits for Kids Program introduces third- and fourth-grade students from eligible schools to energy efficiency and energy resiliency. The program builds early awareness and curiosity around energy while giving students hands-on opportunities and resources to apply what they learn at home.

When a classroom enrolls, teachers are provided with all lesson materials. Students play an educational online game about using energy wisely and being energy-ready, then take home a no-cost kit full of energy-efficient items.
