SoCalREN is seeking Southern California Tribes interested developing, proposing, and implementing initiatives that address their unique energy needs and goals.

What to Expect

SoCalREN will work with you to identify your Tribe’s unique energy needs and support the development of an initiative to be

submitted for approval and funding. SoCalREN will provide participation stipends to compensate for your time.

Goals of the Program

1. Explore Tribal energy needs and SoCalREN Tribal Community Resiliency Program.

2. Review preliminary Tribal Energy Initiative ideas and how SoCalREN programs can support implementation, including energy efficiency options, parameters of funding, and examples of initiatives.

3. Narrow down initiative ideas and identify additional community outreach and partnership opportunities.

4. Finalize initiative ideas and prepare for submission. Discuss support needs and implementation planning.

5. Work directly with SoCalREN to launch and implement your approved initiative.
